Austin Edens, world champion farrier and blacksmith, now lives in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Though Austin's two primary service areas are Austin, Texas and West Palm Beach, Florida, Austin also offers season-based farrier services in California, Colorado and New England. Austin is also pleased to offer, in response to the many Olympians and World Champions who have requested Austin to travel world-wide to maintain care of their horses' feet, farrier services around the globe.

Considered one of the world's top farriers, clinicians and judges, Austin has judged farrier competitions, as well as conducted clinics in various locations from Tokyo to London to Rio de Janeiro. In 2003, Austin won the World Championship Blacksmiths' Competition at the Calgary Stampede, adding to his four National Championship titles, a European Championship title, and numerous regional competition championships. This success has contributed to creating a demand for Austin to shoe the top performance horses on various show circuits coast to coast, in addition to being a sought after clinician and judge on four continents.

Austin achieved the status as an American Farriers' Association Certified Journeyman Farrier by proving his thorough knowledge of the biomechanical functions of the lower limb of the horse. This knowledge, combined with his competition experience, enables Austin to custom make any shoe imaginable, whether it be a therapeutic shoe or a precise performance shoe to maximize a horse's potential. Furthermore, Austin has formed symbiotic relationships with many equine veterinarians worldwide. The precision of digital radiographs and Austin's exceptional craftsmanship will allow your horse's limbs to have optimum alignment. As a result, Austin shoes some of the best athletes in a wide variety of equestrian sport disciplines.
